M P15/09/2026UPDATE BELOW !!!!!I’m extremely disappointed in the service Iv received and it has left my quite angry, upset and feeling like Iv been ripped off.My car was also returned with old engine parts left in the engine bay, oily hand prints on the bonnet, old and oily engine parts just dumped in the boot with the engine cover causing the top of the engine to be full of water when I got home from Holliday. Something that well know to cause injector failure.I took my 2011 seat Leon FR in for 2 separate issues one regarding the gearbox and the other was a fault making the car go into limp mode. The cost of identifying these issues were £100 per issue. So at that price you would expect top class service and to be sure they had got to the bottom of the issues. The gear box was correctly identified and repaired with no problems. After this it all went down hill. The limp mode issue I was told could be potentially the N75 valve or the turbo potentially but I was told a N75 valve would possibly fix it. I authorised this work and was later told this didn’t fix it and the turbo was scrap as the actuator was the problem and “we can’t get parts as they aren’t manufactured” I was then told I needed a turbo at £2000 fitted. As the car is only worth around £3000 I declined the work.Despite them “not being manufactured” I ordered a new turbo actuator from dark side performance for £150, a reputable and well known performance Diesel Company.I was even more shocked when I took the car to another Garrage and was succinct told the turbo actuator was fine and this wasn’t the issue. How can you charge £100 and not even diagnose the issue!! I paid £600 all in for this service I’m frankly extremely angry!!If volksmaster would like to initiate a dialogue and try to make things right, I would be more than happy to speak to them. As of now frankly I find the way I was treated disgusting and down right disrespectful. I would also like to know the steps they took to identify the actuator was bad as I find it hard to believe they correctly tested components and came to this conclusion.UPDATEIv waited a few months to confirm my £200 fix definitely has worked and it has!!after feeling very ripped off volksmaster contacted me the Monday after I left the review to see how they could “make things right” ie get the review taken down. They refused to refund the £100 diag fee which I argued they didn’t correctly diagnose. All Iv done is put an honest account of what happened. I’m no expert when it comes to cars but im definitely an enthusiast who understands how things work.Iv taken the car to a real specialist. I was told the n75 valve wasn’t getting the correct vac pressure something volksmaster obviously didn’t check.Turned out a vac line on top of the engine had rubbed through just enough to reduce the vac pressure.I had the line changed and the car started to run better but it wasn’t 100% fixed. The garage then recommended a turbo cleaner that you spray into the intake. His thought were that because the car hadn’t been running right the turbo had got a little choked up. So I ran the turbo cleaner and after a few hard drives the turbo was happy again. So in conclusion volksmaster poor diag was £2000 for a new turbo. Here’s what p*****ed me off the most the turbo wouldn’t have even fixed the issue due to the vac leak.Iv taken to a real specialist and had it fixed for £200Don’t take your car here unless you’re ready to get ripped off by people who don’t have a clue.read moreread lessVolksmaster Ltd (owner) - 2026-07-15Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously and welcome the opportunity to clarify the situation regarding your Seat Leon.First, we would like to sincerely apologise for the condition your vehicle was returned in regarding the oily marks and parts in the boot. This does not meet our usual high standards of presentation, and we will be addressing this internally with our team.Regarding the diagnostics and mechanical work, we want to clarify our process. Complex issues, such as a vehicle entering limp mode, often involve a systematic process of elimination. As noted in your review, the N75 valve was discussed as a potential first step to resolve the issue before committing to more expensive repairs. Because these components interact closely, testing and replacing a faulty control valve is standard procedure before diagnosing a deeper mechanical or electronic failure within the turbocharger assembly itself. Our technicians stand by their findings based on the live data and physical testing protocols used during your booking. Diagnostic fees cover the specialized equipment and labor time required to trace these intermittent faults. While we understand another garage may have offered a different perspective, we can assure you our team followed strict industry guidelines to identify the faults present at the time of inspection.Furthermore, regarding parts availability, our policy is to source original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or approved warrantied parts to guarantee our work, which can sometimes limit options compared to aftermarket performance suppliers. As mentioned above and in conversations with yourself, the parts being left in the boot of your vehicle is not our usual standard of service and we are more than happy to carry out a full valet, free of charge.ThanksThe Volksmaster teamread moreread less

We are currently investigating your complaint. We hoped you could allow us the time to investigate before disparaging us with this review. The email you received, as I have just reitterated to your wife, advises that we will respond within 10 working days, Our standard 10-business-day policy is an outer timeframe to ensure we investigate every query thoroughly, rather than a target duration for our reply this doesn't mean it will take us 10 days. This is standard for most companies. Please bare with us, whilst we investigate this potential issue. Thanks, Volksmaster.Edit response, what you are referring to is a template email that was sent, outlining our basic policy of timeframe, these emails are sent to all customers that have raised complaints. It seems you are doing your best to slander us, whilst in the middle of an investigation of a complaint that was raised after we closed yesterday. Nobody said it would take 10 business days. We will contact you, once we have investigated.read moreread less

john randles27/08/2026Bad experience overall. After just 4 months, both of my tyres were badly worn due to incorrect tracking done by Volksmaster LTD. When I raised the issue, they simply blamed potholes instead of taking any responsibility as all tyres balance was all over the place. Their prices are almost the same as official Audi service but without the same level of quality or accountability. They also tend to push for unnecessary repairs just to hassle customers and make more money. I would strongly advise avoiding this place.read moreread less

Picked my car up and the next day the engine light came back up took it back the following Monday and they diagnosed that it also needed a charcoal canister as-well and they booked me in that day. Throughout this whole experience the ladies on reception were amazing at keeping me informed of my cars progress. Would highly recommend and they are priced competitively for a specialist garage.
