Škoda Servicing in Oldham, Bury Manchester

Just like with Seat, Škoda has been transformed by the Volkswagen Group and is now a respected car maker at any level. The luxurious Superb, thrilling Octavia RS and flexible Fabia are some of Britain’s favoured models with excellent sales figures and amazing feedback in surveys such as the Auto Express ‘Driver Power’ survey. Volksmaster are big fans of Škodas and will take pride in looking after your car.

Skoda is an ancient automobile company that has been around since 1895. The company has produced several vehicles over the years that are known for their reliability and dependability. A testament to their excellence is the fact that Skoda vehicles remained in relatively high demand even during the two World Wars. Their popularity spread in many parts of Europe after the end of the Second World War, and it continues to spread to different parts of the world to this day.

Škoda Models

Volksmaster understands the engineering brilliance that goes on behind the Skoda brand and has hands-on experience working with Skoda automobiles inside the UK. If these cars are looked after regularly, they hardly present any issues.
Skoda focuses mainly on compact cars, crossovers, and SUVs. They used to make trucks in their earlier days but that stint ended as soon as it started.

The Skoda Fabia is one of their most famous cars in the UK. The compact 4-door car can be found in saloon and hatchback body types. It works well on U.K roads since it is small and maneuverable with a decently powered engine. The economical diesel variant is also the most popular among the line-up.

Next up in the line-up is the Skoda Superb that is a large-sized saloon. The Superb competes against the likes of other large-sized saloons in the market, including the BMW 3 series. The stylish car has a simple yet elegant exterior, unbeatable power under the hood, as well as a modern interior to complete the package.

The Skoda Octavia is another family car that is extremely popular in the U.K. The small family car has a lot of potential with its safety features, powerful engine, and spacious cabin. The liftback saloon and the estate are the only two models available, making them a valid choice for large families.

Škoda Stearing Wheel

The world has shifted towards larger vehicles as a saloon is not accommodating enough anymore. In this regard, buying a full-sized SUV is overkill and impractical on U.K roads. Skoda, like all other leading brands, has shifted towards the crossover segment. The Czech automotive brand is starting to offer an increasing number of crossovers and SUVs in the last few years. The Skoda Kodiaq, the Skoda Karoq, and Skoda Kamiq are testaments to the brand’s commitment towards the current market trends.

The Skoda Kodiaq is the most famous out of the trio, having impressive sales figures with the RS and GT variants being one of the most sought after models overall.

It doesn’t matter if the cars you drive are base variants or high-end models, you need to maintain them similarly. The most common issue with Skoda cars is carbon build-up in the throttle body. Such an issue is easily solvable with a throttle body cleaner. You can attempt to perform this yourself or visit the mechanic who can do the job for you. The diesel variants may suffer from diesel particulate filters, which is a common issue concerning diesel vehicles. No matter what the case, you should always trust a professional with your car.

At Volkmaster, we’re able to deal with any type of service on any type of Škoda model, so if you’ve got an issue with your car, give us a call or visit us in Oldham (0161 624 5060), Bury (0161 761 3030), Heywood (01706 622633) or at the Van Centre (0161 628 5270) or complete the booking form and we’ll get you back on the road in no time.

Digital Online Servicing

The Digital Service Schedule is the new way of recording and protecting your Audi/Volkswagen service history. All vehicles built from November 2012 onwards will now have their entire service history stored electronically in a secure online database.

Volksmaster will provide you with a print-out of the service record each time you visit.

The Digital Service Schedule has many advantages over the traditional paper service record including:

  • Access to the full service history for the life of the vehicle from any Volksmaster Centre
  • A security code which can be verified by any Audi Centre to provide added reassurance when buying or selling a vehicle
  • Protection against forgery or the records being lost
  • Proof of service work to protect your warranty

Maintaining a full and up-to-date service history which is trustworthy and accurate will help preserve the resale price of your vehicle.
