Making a Warranty Claim

Step 1 – Notification

If you believe there is an issue relating to our workmanship or supplied parts, you must notify Volksmaster as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the concern. Delays in reporting defects may affect warranty eligibility where continued use worsens the condition.

Step 2 – Inspection Requirement

The vehicle must be returned to Volksmaster for inspection before any remedial work is undertaken. No warranty claim will be accepted where repairs, modifications, or adjustments have been carried out by third parties without prior authorisation from Volksmaster, except where emergency safety repairs are necessary.

Step 3 – Diagnostic / Investigation Charges

Diagnostic or investigation charges may apply when assessing reported faults. Where a claim is confirmed as a valid warranty claim, such charges will be refunded or waived. If the claim is determined not to be warranty-related, diagnostic charges shall remain payable.

Step 4 – Findings & Resolution

Following inspection, Volksmaster will advise of its findings. Where a fault is determined to fall within warranty coverage, Volksmaster will rectify the issue without further charge, subject to the terms of this policy. Where the issue is not covered, an estimate for repairs will be provided.
