As Volksmaster marks its 30th anniversary, the Oldham-based family business is reflecting on a journey shaped by community trust, continuous learning and steady expansion across Greater Manchester. What began as a single family workshop has grown into a trusted Oldham, Bury, Heywood and Manchester garage network — built on craftsmanship, transparency and long-term relationships. 

Earlier this year, our 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving Marketplace campaign (November 2025 to January 2026) exceeded expectations. Thanks to the incredible support from local drivers, we more than doubled our original giveaway target. The response reminded us that our story has never just been about vehicles — it has always been about people.

While the first phase of our anniversary celebration focused on essential safety and maintenance — including MOT and Service packages to keep families road-ready — we are now shifting our attention. This next chapter is about helping drivers not only stay safe, but feel proud of what they drive.

Over three decades, Volksmaster has expanded from one founding family to supporting around 50 local families through employment, training and partnership. Today, we serve customers across Oldham, Bury, Heywood and Manchester, combining main-dealer expertise with the flexibility of an independent family-run garage.

Throughout these 30 years, our team has continually evolved. We have embraced new technologies, advanced diagnostics, hybrid servicing techniques and modern repair methods. But beyond technical skills, we have learned something equally important: vehicle ownership is emotional.
